1. Start Now. If you have registered and invested time and money to attend this course, you should begin marketing immediately to maximize your revenue. You can open your account with the manufacturer of the actual products we will train with: Call 1-800-811-4148 and select option 2 (new accounts). Client support services will send you the forms you need and process your application, usually in 2 to 3 days. You can also order brochures and other marketing materials from the manufacturer. Always purchase products directly from the manufacturer for the best price.
2. Make arrangements with your malpractice carrier to add the injection of neurotoxins and dermal fillers to your existing policy. This sometimes takes longer than establishing your medication account. Pricing varies depending on your insurer.
3. Advertise these services on your web site, and begin talking to office staff and friends. Offer them a discount if they agree to be treated in the week following the training course. You want to rapidly gain experience as soon as possible after the course to build confidence and fine-tune your technique. Take some excellent before-and-after photos.
Consider a Google Ad, Facebook Ad, Twitter, SnapChat, TV or Radio ads, mailings or e-mail blasts to existing patients, possible referral sources (hair sylists, nail salons, other friends and colleagues). Consider arranging a party for your existing patients to educate them about this new addition to your practice. Consider marketing to your patients with a history of TMJ disorder.
You already have a marketing strategy for your practice, so adding the fact that you offer facial aesthetics services to your existing ads does not increase your marketing budget. Any combination of these techniques will boost your sales more rapidly.
What You Will Receive at the Course:
Your course tuition includes a 1cc syringe of Dermal Filler and a 100 unit vial of OnoBotulinumToxinA (a $940 wholesale value) to be used in the afternoon hands-on training session. This is enough neurotoxin for two patients and enough dermal filler for one patient.
All necessary equipment and disposable supplies are included in your tuition fee.
On the morning of the course, you will receive a notebook with the course syllabus, a copy of the PowerPoint presentation for use as a reference, detailed illustrations, photographs, sample treatment records, consent forms, medical history forms and post-treatment instructions.
Copies of the Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler prescribing information are also included, as well as medication guides for patients, selected journal articles, references, web links to articles and videos and a suggested reading list.
A Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler "Quick Start Guide" will also be provided so you can quickly and easily organize your new aesthetics practice.
NEW: Due to requests by past course participants, there will be an optional Quick Start Kit for sale at the course ($595). This kit will include everything you need to take back to your office and begin injecting immediately. Blunt tipped cannulas, disposable supplies, insulin syringes, medications for special problems and expensive medications that would otherwise have to be bought in bulk will be available. You will still have to establish your account and order your neurotoxins and dermal fillers directly from their manufacturers. They are not included in the kit.
There will also be a CD with customizable versions of generic consent forms, medical history forms, and treatment records for you to modify in consultation with your attorney and incorporate into your practice.
